Gundam Unicorn Banshee Destroy NXEDGESTYLE Action Figure
Mar 13, 2017
NXEdge Gundam Banshee "Destroy Mode"
Fun little figure to pose, durable enough to put up with light play and drops. Arms and legs come off pretty easily, but not enough to be an annoyance when posing. The stand is great for putting the figure in dramatic air combat poses, but isn't so great at holding up the projectile. Small complaint, though, as you definitely get more bang for your buck with the cost of these guys versus quality. Material feels like a soft plastic, but it works. I don't really have any complaints beyond the display stand and can easily recommend this figure and suggest checking out the rest of the line, particularly if you like your Mobile Suits with big heads.

Droid does..... indeed.
I honestly didn't know what to expect. I was buying this phone to replace my original Droid, which had taken an awful fall (R.I.P., little buddy). I've been impressed with the Android OS since firmware 2.1, but it had never entirely lived up to the smoothness of my old iPhone 3G (I had left AT&T to go to Verizon, originally). Now, finally, I don't miss the iPhone anymore. First, the X takes a little getting used to, even if you had a Droid to begin with. Its not difficult, but there is a slight learning curve, more to do with some new messaging and social networking app sets. Aside from that, well, its a phone with decent call quality (I can here the caller and they can hear me without wondering what the other is trying to say with very minimum static, if any). Texting is very easy via the LARGE on-screen keyboard. Reading the specs on the phone, you've probably read about the 8mp camera and HD camcorder. I was a little worried about these, as other reviews had, essentially, trashed them. Needless to say, after playing with them for a few days, I WILL actually be getting rid of my digital camera. Yes, you read that correctly. The Droid X takes rather vivid photos and the HD video looks fantastic, especially when connected via HDMI to an HD TV. Now, its not a replacement for a good DSLR by a long shot, but if you're using this phone and a simple point-and-click camera, well, toodles to the camera. The browser renders very quickly with the current 2.2 version of the OS, but you could use another browser, such as X-Scope, if you feel the need. All in all, a very good, multi-function phone. The phone doesn't feel clunky nor underpowered. Definitely worth the purchase.
