Canon eos d30
I purchased this camera for my grandson (16 yrs. old), and it is absolutely perfect for him to learn the ins and outs of photography without spending an arm and a leg. If he ends up wanting to seriously pursue photography to another level, he will have had the perfect camera for learning and even using as a backup or second camera. At the moment, most of his interests are more to learning the art of photography more than ending up with a high resolution shots as he mostly uses the internet for exploiting his work and is not into printing yet. My only negative about this purchase is that it appears that a protective filter of any type was not used on the lens, and there are a couple of minor scratches around the perimeter. However, since my grandson is not yet into high resolution work, it isn't really that important, but it should have been done from the outset. All lenses should be protected with an inexpensive filter at all times. If he now decides to upgrade later to a high resolutions camera, the lens would probably be useless with the blemishes. Other than that, it was a great deal!!
