About us

Welcome to The Glass Slipper Rocks lapidary studios - we offer magical rocks that will transport you into a new world. Guaranteed to improve your attitude immediately! Our stones are 100% natural and earth created. All stones in our store are cut by American lapidary artist, Peter Ehret who has been practicing the art for many many years. Peter tries to keep an interesting smorgasbord of droolworthy gemstones available to collectors and jewelry makers and other artists for their creations. Pete uses century old lapidary techniques to carefully cut, carve and polish all of his creations. You will notice that Pete cuts many mixed mineral rocks that look like they have come from mineral collections... and they have. He has the boldness and confidence to cut where and what many others may not. Our vision is to offer you edgy, bold and dreamy gems that will fire your creative imaginations and make you smile every time you look at them. We are super friendly too! Susan and Pete

Excellent seller communication. I would have preferred the stone included a note with country of origin In addition to the artist. Well packed and presented in a small box which is great as this was for a present. Arrived on time.

Thank you for your feedback and per your suggestion we will begin to include that information with the packaging. It would be very informative to include the locality (stone origin), especially when an item is being given as a gift, and the recipient does not have the full information from the ebay listing available to them. It was cut from the inside of a geode from Uruguay, South America.
