Accept it for what it is and you will be very happy. A worthwhile purchase
1 of 1 found this helpful All told a pretty good device. Accept it for what it does well and you will be very happy. We are very busy people and just having this little guy doing the work (his name is "Buddy") has made a big difference. He also cleans under beds and any furniture he can get under! But, he doesn't do stairs or get rid of ceiling cobwebs (no free lunch there).
We have a golden retriever so are definitely a worst case scenario when it comes to dog hair. Once you get ahead of the dog hair the Roomba works fairly well. The rollers do get wrapped up with dog hair periodically but the tools that are provided for cleaning the rollers mostly work well. I think iRobot still has a little design work to do on the part of the roller that has the yellow cap over it in this regard -- getting dog hair out from under that requires a needle nose pliers to remove what gets wrapped around the roller. I also wish the dirt receptacle was a little bigger.
