On the ''very'' positive side though when contacted about the problem they refunded me in full without any queries whatsoever. so they can't be fairer than that and i would buy from them again based on that.

The reply was simply start a return - a few minutes later another email arrived saying that I could keep the item and they had already refunded me for the purchase. You cannot get better service than that

I had ordered this from another seller (also Chinese) and it never arrived even after several weeks of "communications" whic were just excuses. So, if you're having to rebuil;d a VW-Audi gearbox I recommend these guys.
