The ultimate modern horror film!
1 of 1 found this helpful I once owned the VHS version but someone stole it. I once had the soundtrack on vinyl, but it, too, was stolen. So I finally decided that I must own the DVD. "The Hunger" has always been in my all-time Top 10. Shot with gothic perfection and chock full of sexual undertones, it captures the cast & crew at their very best. We all want to live forever, but this film makes me happy to survive this long. The commentary by Tony Scott & Susan Sarandon is very detailed and informative. The opening sequence, featuring Bauhaus performing their classic "Bela Lugosi's Dead", is worth the price of admission alone. Superb!
