One of the most underrated and over-performing lenses out there.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the best value I've found for an image stabilized lens in this price range. The auto focus is fast in wide variety of lighting. The images are crisp. With the image stabilization (which I used to mock) makes getting a good shot so much easier. What used to take 3-6 shots to get a good image is usually done in one and at the most two.
The barrel of the lens is 72mm as oppose to my old lens of 58mm. This means I can get wide angle shots without having a wide angle lens or having to put on a wide angle lens accessory.
With an aperture of 2.8 it doesn't make low light photography magic, but a lot easier.
