Napoleon Dynamite DVD, 2006
One of my top 10 movies I'd choose to have if stranded on a desert Island. Filmed with mostly locals in small rural community without the mega cost production and still leaves a blockbuster aftertaste in my opinion. Napoleon Dynamite is the John Doe of all the Nerds we knew or were ourselves in highschool. Wonderful delivery of memories we've all most likely experienced ourselves in our teen years. Clean humor with a punch, which is a rare treat today. Worth watching more than once, just to catch the quirky body movements & catch phrases that had me on the floor laughing. No small wonder this movie launched Jon Heders's movie career!
