I'm an old and long time 1:43 scale diecast collector of vintage and classic cars, trucks, vans, etc. I buy and sell on ebay to sustain my collection in my retired life. I love to talk about 1;43 scale premium diecast and whitemetal models. Recently, I've been buying more 1:48 scale and discovered Denver Diecast only about a year ago. Their models intrigue me and I love their Texaco stuff.

It's interesting to me that I'm more attracted to Matchbox 1:43 and Ertl 1:43 scale stuff than the premium models. I've been whittling down my premium models and only have a few left in my collection. But I love things like Toy Zone, Denver Diecast, Matchbox, Ertl, even Road Signature and Road Champs. I love to customize and just do my own thing. Right now I'm working on turning an '84 Dodge Diplomat police car into an '84 Chrysler 5th Avenue, which was one of my favorite cars that I have owned. In fact, I'm working on collecting a replica of every car I've owned through the years.

The Matchbox Collectibles Magic is at it again!
I love the Texaco models in 1/43 scale. I sold off my Texaco collection in 2000 and have regretted it ever since. Just starting to find the models I loved. The level of details, finishes, and graphics make Matchbox Collectibles in 1/43 scale the premier of modeling. Although older models have gone up in price they still are very reasonable considering some of the new resin and die cast models.

A realistic 1:43 scale dragster and great addition to any 1:43 scale collection!
I've owned this model and other Joe's Speed Shop models from Hot Wheels (Mattel) previously. Actually I don't know why I ever sold them. It was an easy decision to buy this. These are quality Diecast models, especially for 1:43 scale. They have much more detail many premium white metal and resin models including raising the race body that reveals the engine, undercarriage with many drive train features shown, and nice driver's area details. It is well thought out and includes a rod to hold the raised body in place allowing you to view the interior and mechanics of the dragster. Very realistic. The graphics and a decals are good quality and well placed. This Hot Wheels product is much like the very detailed Matchbox 1:43 scale models, also a Mattel product. I love both '53 Funny Car Studebakers, asa well as the '55 Ford Panel truck and the '55 Ford car carrier that are part of the series. It is a great addition to my 300+ 1:43 scale only collection.

A must have tool for hobby work and modeling!
First time I've used a cutting mat and I can't believe that through years and years of model building and diecast customization that I did without. There's lots to love about this mat besides it being self healing. Cutting something that goes through into the mat and you can't hardly tell afterwards. But, the thing that I like best is having measuring capibility underneath my keyboard. I'll not ever do without one in the future. One regret. I wish I had purchased on that was 28" wide and 3" deeper, if they are available in that size. I love it. Thanks
