1 of 2 found this helpful I love the Anita Blake character and her exploits with kicking supernatural butt. This is still early enough in the series to be entertaining. No too much weird sex and still lots of "executioner" action.

1 of 1 found this helpful I like Davidson's Vampire Queen series, this book wasn't as good in my opinion. More like a short story that has been made into a book. It's still fun to read but not much meat on the bone.

Burnt Oferings
I love the Anita Blake character and I think that Laurell Hamilton is a talented writer. This is one of Hamilton's early Anita Blake books so it's still really a good read. Not too weird or sexually abberated, as her more recent books have become.
