Not for use on a well driven car
I have a 1997 e36 bmw used for track racing. I purchased these to replaced a cracked housing with something a little more stylish before the last track day of the season. Not only did they fail me, they also looked nothing like the product I received.
I drive aggressively, however the factory ones had never failed me. One track day with these, and not only did I loose one fog light, but it tore the whole mounting assembly out too.
Before you knock this off to installation error, you should know that installation looks identical to the old assemblies installation, and every part and screw was accounted for.

If you plan to drive CALMLY, modify the assembly enough to hold on better, or just stare at your car, these will work.
