Nikon F (Ai Ai-s) lens mount adapter for Canon EOS EF-S cameras 60D 5D Mark 3 7D
Feb 28, 2017
Good, solid, no fuss Nikon to Canon adapter!
I have tried several different low cost mfrs of these Nikon non/Ai Ai (not G) to Canon Ef Efs EOS rings. This was a very well made one. I tried it with a huge Tamron 70 -280 zoom and it held the lens unsupported, plenty strong. If you don't mind setting your Canon to M mode -- then these rings afford you the ability to use some of the finest lenses made, Nikon Nikkor F mounts from 1959 all the way through the Series E of the 1980s. More than 80% of all Nikon lenses would never have clearance issues on full frame Canon -- but you should always check first. Using this adapter is simple, no computer chips to wonk out your CPU and no corrective lenses to degrade your photo. You almost always get full range of focus to infinity. If you own Canon crop or full frame, don't miss out on owning a few of these along with some really good, low cost Nikon non-Ai glass like the Nikkor S 50mm 1.4!

Nikon Al F to Canon EOS Lens Adapter EF Rebel Digital Camera Mount Adapter Ring

The same or close to Fotodiox brand.
If you own a Canon full frame, or otherwise with an EOS mount -- these are great to have around. The advantages enjoy of shooting vintage manual lenses can't be understated – – and with the 5D Mark two and up cameras that shoot video, having a real aperture ring is vital. since the EOS line is not too well endowed with nice vintage lenses, you can look to Nikon F (since 1959) for some of the best and cheapest all manual primes, and high-quality zooms – – it just so happens that Nikon fits canon EOS / EF perfectly If you are shooting a full frame camera be absolutely sure that you have clearance for the mirror, most lenses are no trouble. Once you have a selection of cool old Nikon glass, that you enjoy using on your Canon camera, you'll find it easiest to have an adapter clicked on to each lens, so that you don't have to fumble with the little lever each time. That's where these reasonably priced adapters come in. some people, complain about a little wiggle depending on which ones you use, this is a common trait, and can't really be faulted to these low cost adapters. Some lenses will fit snug, others will have a slight wiggle – – if that bothers you, you can shim the gap with a teeny bit of paper which usually totally alleviates any play at a These little rings for exceed my expectations for the price, they are very sturdy, all metal, will hold a medium to large zoom with confidence.
