A stellar drive that should be brought back !
Having put off getting one of these far too long, they were out of production by the time I decided to get one, I can only say Paul should bring these back. The learning curve is short and intuitive, the boost feature is complimentary to the basic part of the circuit, the pedal is wonderful on it's own merits, and plays extremely well when stacked with other pedals. Such as the Blackstone and several others. I agree with other reviews that the transparency of the signal is amazing. Fully keeps your signal organic and not masked in the way that lesser drives change your sound and tone.

Emperor of the North, an overlooked gem
I had seen this in the original theatrical release and it was a long time before it made it to home video. This is one of those superb character study action flicks that is too often ignored. No superfluous love story, it's the tale of man against man, corporate against the downtrodden and a great story. Lee Marvin as A#one, a hobo who takes on riding the rails of a train overseen by Ernest Borgnine, who has no compunction against maiming or killing anyone that tries to ride for free. Throw in Keith Carradine as an up-and-comer hobo who is almost as unscrupulous and you have a portrait of America at a time of the Great Depression that is relevant in today's context as well. Yeah the title song is horribly dated and schlocky but the ideas and performances make it well worth the watch.

Keeley Pedals Bassist Compressor Electric Bass Comp Effect Pedal

Compact dynamo
The Keeley Bassist is a great pedal for any Bass rig. The controls are well placed and offer a great range of nuance throughout their spectrum. Whether using this for it's compression function or as a boost/limiter this pedal delivers in sound , ease of use and the always terrific build Keeleys' have come to incoporate into all of their pedals !
