The O scale cars match the cars in the movie better. The HO cars are shortened versions or the movie cars and have 4 wheel trucks.
1 of 2 found this helpful The cars are well made and the lighting works very well. I also like the Kadee metal couplers on the cars. I also purchased the Hot Chocolate car and the 4 car train works very well. I would have liked to have a rear coupler on the observation car. I use the Bachmann 2-8-4 to pull the train. I would like to see the HO scale people done like they did for the O scale train.

This uncoupler is excellent for mainline or yard lead - can be turned on and off
The installation went well. I did read the comments on the web site before I started and noted that one person did not have LEDs light and changed the polarity of the power and the LEDs then worked . I had the same problem and the solution to change the polarity on the input power worked for me also. I did not get the required 1 3/4 inch hole exactly in the center of the track so my uncoupler was off set from the center line of the track. Uncoupling was not as reliable as desired so I rotated the uncoupler some and then got the desired uncoupling. The uncoupler can be operated into the uncoupling position as long as desired unlike an electro-magnet uncoupler which is not left on for long periods of time. This uncoupler uses strong permanent magnets for uncoupling which are rotated into and out of position for uncoupling. The LED light is on when the uncooupler is activated and shines up on the couplers which helps position the cars for uncoupling. The uncoupling can position the couplers into the delayed position if desired. I consider this a good product and is a solution for a mainline uncoupler and also to uncouple passenger equipment.

Peco SL-95 Cd 100 Medium Radius Right Turnout (Insulfrog)
The quality of the turnout is very good. No problems with this turnout design. I have used the turnout over 20 times and have had no real problems. I am very particular about operating through a turnout and having no derailments. I like the snap action when throwing the points. I use a Caboose Industries ground throw 218S to actuate my turnouts.
