Considering the age and value of the item (a 20-year old still-sealed theme deck in the $$$ range), it should have been packaged better. The deck had a single later of bubble wrap and was put into a box that could easily fit two or three decks without any additional padding or spacers. While, fortunately, the item arrived undamaged, the risk did not need to be taken at all especially from an experienced seller/shop.
