This is a voile, maybe, or even thinner than that—completely see-through. Almost like a chiffon made out of cotton. And in the first wash, for pre-shrinking before use—all those beautiful vibrant blues in the pictures, became a soft periwinkle blue. It's still pretty—but it's NOT lawn, which is what I needed, and it's NOT the color I bought it for, either. Packaged beautifully, shipped fast.
