About us

The Museum of Universal Self Expression or M.U.S.E., Inc. began in 2003 in Chicago, IL. Started by Diane Green & Bob Buchholz, this 501(c)(3) non-profit has created a variety of art programs throughout the city of Chicago for over 15 years. Our mission is to support art programs in low-income, artistically underserved communities especially for people in recovery. In 2019, M.U.S.E. intends to break through with a new set of art programs for women and children through recovery homes in the Chicago area. Donations are needed for supplies, transportation, and general operating experiences in order to provide art in recovery for those so in need. Thank you for your help!
