About us

The Museum of Universal Self Expression or M.U.S.E., Inc. began in 2003 in Chicago, IL. Started by Diane Green & Bob Buchholz, this 501(c)(3) non-profit has created a variety of art programs throughout the city of Chicago for over 22 years. Our mission is to support art programs in low-income, underserved communities especially for people in recovery. In 2024, M.U.S.E.began publishing books and records by people in recovery. Donations are needed for supplies, transportation, and general operating experiences in order to provide arts, literature and music publishing for those so in need. Thank you for your help!
