About us

The Olde Skool started life during the pandemic of 2019. The founder had worked as a designer of men's clothes & accessories for over 20 years for various uk brands, chain stores, & international companies. On furlough, through most of 2020 and with the future looking increasingly bleak he decided to put one of his luxury silk ties up on eBay. It took months to sell but subsequently after that first sale in October 2021 he slowly began to put his entire luxury archive up for grabs. 4 years later this finely curated sustainable eBay virtual store is the result. For decades he had wanted to open his own shop, but with his corporate work life now over for good, it was the ‘not so perfect’ time to remold his future and to have the flexibility to be able to look after his elderly parents.     Item arrived ahead of time, and was very well priced (big reduction). No issues with the item which was in near pristine condition and as described. Seller included a thoughtful note, packaged the item very well to prevent it from damage. Also included were some gummy sweets, which were a nice touch. Great seller, would use again.
