My parents owned an import and collection company, Fourth World Cottage Industries, for over 30 years. Many of these items were part of their store and collection, which has since closed due to other ventures in their lives. My father is a Maya Indian from Guatemala -thus the interesting and compelling array of huipiles for sale here. All the goods have been handpicked by either myself or my parents, through the many years of travel and buying. None of the huipils are machine made - as many of them are nowadays - they are all hand woven! Many of the items here are from Guatemala, Thailand, India and Indonesia. I take great pride in selling these handmade goods - they are all one-of-a-kind, great quality and each piece has a personality of its own! Thanks so much for checking out my store, and please contact me with any questions or comments!

The item came broken. I think it’s because it was sent in a soft sided packaging. It did say Fragile but would have done better if it was in a box. It was glued back together and is fine so far.

These vintage ornaments are even nicer than they looked in the pictures. The seller had them wrapped to protect them in the mail and this is always appreciated by the buyer. Thank you to an excellent seller.
