About us
As far back as I can remember, Dad was teaching me so artfully that I did not realize I was learning. We spent many chilly mornings and hot afternoons at auction houses, where I worked as a runner beginning in my early teens. He inspired a passion for learning about and re-homing useful items and small pieces of history that kept us close, even when we lived nearly one thousand miles apart. We ran our eBay stores, Yankee-Attics and Buckeye-Attics, always motivated by the spirit of our friendly competition and sharing what we learned from our experiences. When I moved back to Vermont, we turned Yankee-Attics into a family business.
It turned out to be an amazing adventure; we learned a lot about the history of Central Vermont, traveling the area and meeting people who supplied the items we offered for sale.
