I've used MDR-XB55APs for years, am down to my last pair that i'd bought a few years ago, that's why i bought these on ebay. there is a HUGE difference in the bass and fullness of sound. i mean they are ok, but they have 50% of the sound depth of real Sony MDR-XB55APs
