Importantly, although the metal valve stem looks as if it were square, one of its corners is round and so the plastic knob has a round corner that must be matched with the stem. I felt good knowing that this item was made in the USA and it may have cost a bit less than the OEM part but no such part with screw were available when I searched the WWW June of 2025. A a very positive experience!
