Riverbend Recycled Auto Parts at Jeff Smid Auto has been the Quad Cities’ premier auto recycler for nearly 20 years. Based in the Mount Joy area of Davenport near the Davenport Airport, Riverbend has been a trusted resource for professionals and the weekend mechanic alike.

The business was started by lifelong auto recycler and restorer Jeff Smid. Jeff quickly established a reputation in the Quad Cities as someone that if he didn’t already have the part in stock could find it quickly through his regional network. Wholesale pricing to everyone and competitive warranties helped him gain a loyal customer base. After over 40 years in the business, Jeff decided retire in 2022 and sold the business.

Under new ownership, the Riverbend Recycled Auto Parts brand was launched in 2023 to show our commitment to automotive recycling through environmentally responsible practices.

    This part was completely rusted. It looks like this knuckle has been resting at the bottom of a river for years. When I contacted the seller, his response was it a used part and if you don’t like it, ship it back at purchaser expense. He was very rude and not very accommodating.
