About us
We are a small family owned business in Northeast Alabama. Our family has been in the saddle business for 50 + years. Each of our G.W. Crate custom saddles is one of a kind. We use American Steer Leather from Herman Oak, and saddle trees from Steele Saddle Tree Co. All of our materials used in the saddle production is sourced from the United States. You can say that your saddle was hand built in the US the old fashion way. We also have a line of saddle pads and custom tack made here in our shop at Riders Choice. Why buy a cookie cutter saddle like everyone else does? You can own a one of a kind saddle for less than they paid for theirs.
