  This is a radio made for the Chinese market, and the manual is in Chinese it can RX and TX from 136-174 MHz and full 50W over the entire band Also, from 400 to 470 MHz, just over 50W on 400 MHz and just under 40W on 470 MHz The speaker is good, and the modulation on FM is good . The S meter shows a full reading when SQ is open and 0 when SQ is closed Most VHF radios have a funny S meter, and it will not cause me a problem.
