The lens had sticky rubber/plastic syndrome and once I had removed the original coatings with pure alcohol and applied the vinyl the lens looked much, much better. I had some issues where two or three separate pieces have to line up, but if I did a second lens I think I would get perfect alignment. A great choice for tired looking lenses, or to offer protection to the surface.
