    Please note that the foam surround is GLUED together at the ends. The original one is way thinner and has a wider center, so if you buy one of these for MY genset, you should plan on using the original air filter cage (wire cage) or be able to open this one up by stretching the oval out to a more "football" shape. The foam also wraps around the cage, which forces you to "squash" the air filter to get the air cleaner housing bolted back on. Nothing wrong with the filter element itself!
