About us

What started as endeavor to re-home family pieces handed down through the generations turned into the creation of this store. Some of us collect things during our journey that remind of us of special times or spark our imagination. Some objects amaze us, and some are just plain fun. In a world where there's a lot of waste, I am thankful for this venue where we can send an object across the globe and kindle sentiment, appreciation, artistry or admiration of craftsmanship. As the saying goes, they don't make them like they used to.
If you've made it this far, I should probably talk about the ties. It's an odd obsession for my gender but they are a unique way for men to express themselves and the newer ties of today seem to all look similar. The vintage ties have so much more character. I love looking for them and passing them on to be appreciated and worn.
