I love the little luxuries of past generations, I love searching through boxes at estate sales and auctions.. I love creating new things from old, including furniture, quilting, upholstery.. I love sharing ideas and helping to inspire and being inspired by others.. I love renovating my old farm house and making it my own.. My favorite finds are exquisite handiwork of any kind.. quality linens unsurpassed by modern day imitations.. gorgeous fabrics in fantastic patterns long out of print.. sewing patterns, laces, trims and anything that promotes creativity and craftiness~we are a dying breed!.... vintage and antique fashion.. well~loved pieces and parts that can be brought back to life, reused or re~purposed or salvaged into something new and cherished... anything and everything that offers a glimpse into the lives of out ancestors and what was useful or important or treasured in their world, one that has changed tremendously over the years, and not necessarily for the better.     I purchased this item (2) on June 27 - received it on July 14. We put the items out for the first time on July 18. The next day - one was completely stained - ruined - on both sides (it had not rained and the other cover was perfectly fine). I wrote the seller on July 18 and received no reply (July 25). Sorry to leave a negative review but there was no other option.

    I am in a busy, emotional time in my life, my dad has cancer and I have been traveling a lot, I'm sorry there was no response. I did see your message but honestly was unsure what I was supposed to do. While it is probably true that this was meant to be for inside use, I can't see any way that this could have happened completely. it's like someone literally washed it with bleach. In any regard, it was received in perfect condition. Once put into use, it's not my responsibility.
