    13 out of 25 shells were in good condition and had their natural brown /yellowish sheen. This was enough to complete my arts and craft project. 12 of the shells I had to throw out since they had sporadic and disruptive worn, bare white blots in them and could not be used visually in my project. Overall, the value was good at the low price for this "used" batch of shells, so I am pleased with the quality + appearance of 1/2 the order being fine and usable in my project--it was worth the gamble
