Collectors and museums alike have re-discovered beauty in the practical -- the arts and crafts of our daily lives.
Latin American textiles, Native American pottery and Japanese dolls are some examples of craft objects I grew up admiring from my mother's passion for collecting. From this early appreciation, I pursued a degree from UC Berkeley in Art History and Conservation, was assistant curator at Galerie M and Mayer Shwarz Gallery in Beverly Hills, then owned my own gallery in Japanese and Asian antiques.
