  Item arrived damaged. Poorly packaged. Pin broken off back of brooch. Now I have to buy expensive glue and repair it.

  Sorry to hear, given its age having the back dislodge only is not OK but can be fixed by less than $4 - as you can see from the close to 100% of other reviews packaging hasn’t been a problem at all. Would have been happy to refund if you had bothered to have a conversation beforehand.
