The item emits a humming/buzzing sound from all the speakers. I had to purchase a replacement for this as it sounds like 1,000,000 fluorescent lights humming overhead. Seller did NOT disclose the humming/buzzing sound and does not accept returns so there is no reason for me to contact the seller for resolution. I have used it for two years, with no humming or buzzing. AS for packaging, I know it was packaged very well, i have shipped many units over the years. If it was damaged you should have taken pictures and filed a claim. I don't accept returns on electronics. BUT I would worked with you if this was an honest review.
