Hello. I was born in Japan, in 1967. AT THAT TIME, japanese musicians were ABSORBED IN music and its essence from the music programs of FEN (Far East Network (now AFN.American Forces Network)). Even in Japan, when these Japanese musicians started broadcasting music, they would talk about California, Memphis, Chicago, Tennessee, New Orleans and other cities where American music flourished, talk about SINGERS SUCH AS Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, JANIS JOPLIN, singers, talk about blues and rock 'n' roll, and actually play songs and play records. As a boy, I was thrilled to hear it. There was a time when I wanted to try playing it myself. After a lot of things, I finally got my own guitar when I was 45 years old.
