About us
I started my interest in coins when I was about 10 years old around the time the U.S. State Quarter program started. My grandfather gave me my first album to collect them in and I have been collecting ever since. 23 years later, my grandfather has passed away but I still have a love for collecting coins and currency from the U.S. and around the world. My great-grandfather was a coin hoarder and when he died, I was told that it took a shipping dolly to remove all of the coins he had hoarded from the first national bank safe deposit boxes. I am honored that when my grandfather passed away 10 years ago, that I inherited what was left of that hoard and was able to get involved and buying and selling coins as a result of the sale of that collection. In my thirities now, I have spent the better part of the past 15 years learning about U.S. coins and now have a love of coins from Australia and the British Commonwealth. I also love paper currency with unique serial numbers as well.
