We are a family upholding the legacy of craftsmanship passed down by our great grandfather, Mr. Hakam Din. He was a skilled wood-tuner and crafted his first bagpipe in the 1890s, a masterpiece now enshrined in the National Museum of Scotland, Museum of Piping. Mr. Din's passion transcended bagpipes, extending to flutes, clarinets, bugles to sousaphones, drums and string instruments.
The art of hand-crafting instruments, courses through our family's veins, passed from heart to heart and generation to generation. Our experienced elders shape instruments, infusing every piece with precision. Simultaneously, the young ones lends a helping hand, learning the art, ensuring its continuity for future generations.
Each instrument that we craft with the name Hakam Din tells a story and serves as a testament to our unwavering commitment to the old style of craftsmanship.
As our journey unfolds, we remain devoted to honouring this legacy, aspiring to craft melodies that endure for lifetimes.

Love it! This is a great little instrument, has a lovely tone, easy to play, and once I get used to the fingerings, will play nicely in tune. The case is not as well constructed as the instrument. Quick shipping and good communication, thanks.
