An illustrated first-day-of-issue cover from Guernsey (18th February 1941), featuring a one-penny red Guernsey definitive Coat of Arms stamp issued during the German occupation of the Channel Islands. The Guernsey postmark is upside-down, which occasionally occurred; also, the postage stamp has been placed in an upside-down position as a protest by some islanders as an insult to the German occupation. Clean condition, with good communication, well-packed, accurately described, speedy delivery.
