  Have used the new Gerber e-tool and have also used this one. Gotta say, this one beats it in my opinion. As a surplus item, it obviously was not in new condition, but it’s a shovel so what does it matter. Good quality, insane value ($30 is a great deal), and the only thing “wrong” with it was a single scratch (so just appearance, and as I said it’s a shovel so it doesn’t matter)
