    My CPU was shipped with zero protection or padding, just in the plastic casing that all CPU’s have. When it was delivered, many the corner pins were bent inward. Luckily, I was able to bend them back to normal, however, I don’t expect someone who is brand new to the PC building community to know how to bend the pins back without causing further damage. Shipping time was fine, and came as described. They could’ve used at least a layer of bubble wrap and it probably would’ve saved the pins.
