    Beautiful plate in excellent condition, you were a pleasure to deal with. The R on the back corresponds to 1940. My Granduncle, Graham Holmes, designed the plate in 1932 and signed it on the front. I have 500 of his artworks mainly paintings and watercolors. His father Frank Holmes was the chief designer of Lenox China from 1905-1954.
