And, yes I am a real doctor. A pediatrician. In 2013 after 18 years taking care of kids I was in a near fatal car accident when an 80 year old woman with dementia ran a stop sign. I awoke upside down covered in glass & blood, jaws of life, then helicopter ride to trauma center. The consequences prevented me from working as a pediatrician ever again. On the bright side the severity of the accident resulted in them finding and removing a malignant bladder tumor that would have killed me.
Don't sweat the small stuff & buy disability insurance. (& how about some great collectibles?)
