We live in a world where authentication is deemed foolproof, but you need nothing more that a true circulated banknote or coin to prove it has stood the test of time and was used in their respective nations to fuel its economy. Sure, uncirculated gems are pinnacle, but not everyone can afford to authenticate & a clean unused banknote or coin never bought anything. Experiencing holding something that circulated in its nation and wondering what it purchased through the years is worth its weight in gold. That in its own right is authentic and a tangible way to experience its history and the preservation of it.
