    The bushing fit just fine, but didnt fix the problem because a keeper wasn't included.

    Our patented bushings with the exception of two do not require the old technology of clip or keeper. If replacing the bushing did not fix your problem then please check the other end of cable by looking at that bushing as well. If it appears intact then inspect the entire length of the cable.
