  Got these installed, and happy to report they fit the 2001 Forester just fine (same engine as the Impreza 2.5 RS). Did need get a bit creative as the flanges did not line up as they were made too narrow, however there is enough flex in the construction to allow you to get it into place. Overall happy with them and they give a good sound to an otherwise stock exhaust system (rumble at idle and under throttle). Noticeable improvement in throttle response and drivability compared to oem headers.
