The seller asked me to return the stone for a refund, and I refused as the stone is evidence of fraud. The seller listed a "Natural Tanzanite" Stone at an auction. When I received the stone I tested it with my test gear: Refractometer = glass (1.5 reading definitely not tanzanite (1.7 reading), thermal conductivity = glass, polariscope = glass. Maybe not intentional on behalf of the seller, as they may not have gem test equipment but then they should not be selling gems.
