    8 volt ignition coil with ballast resistor. Makes a huge difference to starting a historic vehicle easily when compared to a 12 volt coil. Problem is the battery voltage falls when cranking, so you may not get a spark with a 12 volt coil, but will with an 8 volt coil. Worth-while modification to any old vehicle.
