Monopods have various uses, but the Xshot monopod provides users with the chance to take images from a distance in order to capture vistas and the photographer himself or herself in an image. The Xshot XS2379 monopod is designed to eliminate the need for a stranger to take a picture of a couple, and puts the ability directly in the hands of the camera owner. This travel monopod weighs only 5 oz and comes with an extension capability of 37 inches. The Xshot monopod can close to only 9 inches in length, making it easy to travel with and shoot with in cramped spaces. The Xshot XS2379 monopod is built to be used with point-and-shoot cameras and is therefore compatible with nearly all of them, but the max camera weight for the monopod is 1.25 lbs. The travel monopod can connect to tripods as well though a universally designed tripod adapter. The Xshot monopod is designed as an extension of a photographers reach to eliminate awkward arm length photos.
