Following Japan-only released Zill O'll adventures on PlayStation, PS2, and PSP, Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll comes to North America as a PS3 exclusive. It is an action-oriented role-playing game from Dynasty Warriors creator Omega Force, in which players lead a small party through a large adventure in a dynamic, violent world of magic and mythology. The game's archetypical RPG party contains three characters: Selene, a lithe assassin who fights with twin daggers; Dagda, a hulking warrior of whose strength and stamina match his great size; and Areus, a wizard swordsman with the versatility and confidence to face any threat. Players can switch between the three, controlling one of the characters at a time while the computer provides support with the other two. Battles are fast-paced, with opportunities for the trio to pull off devastating combo attacks against oversized and outnumbering opponents. Interactive environments also play a major role, both in combat and exploration. The game's high-fantasy story plays out in the land of Vyashion, where the rival races of human, elf, and vampire must forge an uneasy alliance against the evil of the powerful and paranoid King Balor.
