Product Information

Connect AUI (DTE) nodes with Transition's 10BASE-FB Transceiver. Originally designed for backbone applications, FB-compliant devices allow increased repeater count limits (from a maximum of 5 to 12) and provide remote fault signaling to your management station. Slim profile transceiver design allows for direct AUI port attachment to any workstation or network device; eliminating the need for additional cabling. Corner-mounted LEDs permit easy monitoring of transceiver status in both horizontal and vertical orientation. Unpartition and jam algorithms are selectable for reduced network downtime and errors. This is the multimode ST transceiver with supported length of up to 2 km.
